Dead Poets Society

Review: Dead Poets Society is an entertaining film centered around
two major concepts, freethinking and Carpe Diem. Robin Williams
(Fisher King, Awakenings) in an unexpected role for him at the
time, playing a more reserved character, is excellent as John Keating,
the English teacher who influences the impressionable group of
young kids. The students are well cast, Ethan Hawke (Todd Anderson)
and Gale Hansen (Charles Dalton) did a particularly good job. A
couple other Peter Weir films that I have enjoyed include: The
Mosquito Coast and Gallipoli. -Review by Aaron Caldwell
